Framingham, MA 01701
Sunday, September 8th at 4:00PM

Open Spirit: A Place of Hope, Health & Harmony invites you to an opening celebration of Rashin Fahandej’s sound art installation, “A Father’s Lullaby.”  Rashin is a Framingham-based Baha’i artist who is originally from Iran. “A Father’s Lullaby,” offers an opportunity to reflect on the harm of mass incarceration to families and communities. It raises awareness of the long-term consequences of the disproportionately high rates at which people of color, especially men, are incarcerated in our nation. Visitors will have the opportunity to walk a small labyrinth in a meditative fashion, hearing lullabies sung by fathers. Click here for more information.
