Craft Fair - Vendors needed!

Northborough Applefest @ Trinity Church

Calling all crafters! Come participate in the Trinity Craft Fair located on Trinity's front lawn. There will be a variety of crafters offering potery, jewelry, handmade home decor, and other unique crafted items for sale. Space is still available!
Application fees: Early Registration Incentive = $50 per space if agreement, application, and registration fee are received by August 3, 2019. After August 3rd, the fee is $60 per space. Checks should be made payable to Trinity Church - Applefest 2019 and mailed to Trinity Church along with signed agreement and application. The application can be found online or email Jean for more information at: jhleif@gmail.com.


Healing Moral Injury

Participants will learn about moral injury, its caused, why it is so debilitating, and pathways to healing. Participants may become part of a network of therapists and clergy trained to assist in the healing for moral injury. Please see the attached FLYER for a list of workshop leaders.

Available lunch providers and youth dates are currently on our website. Youth group dates are available for groups of 15 or less.


OBITUARIES


 

 

The Rev. Mr. John Thomas Leamon died on May 31, 2019 at Soldier's Home in Holyoke, MA.  Tom is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews, grand-nieces and nephews, great-grand nieces, and a similarly sizeable group from his second marriage. They are scattered throughout the United States and in Istanbul, Turkey. A memorial reception will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2019 from 4:00-6:00pm at the historic Whately Town Hall, 194 Chestnut Plain Road, Whately, MA.  In lieu of flowers, donations to The Soldiers' Home, Inc., attn: Treasurer, PO Box 1338, Holyoke, MA, 01040, would be appreciated, as the staff there provided excellent and loving care to Tom during his last 3 years. Please click here to read full obituary.

Ms. Ruth R. (Wheaton) Evans, died on June 30, 2019 in St. Vincent Hospital. She was born in Manchester, CT, the daughter of Sidney and Fannie (Rexford) Wheaton. She was predeceased by her husband Charles in 2000 and her son Christopher in 2018. She leaves a daughter Nancy H, a son Rexford W., her daughter in law Leslie Russell, two grandsons, Michael and Jonathan Evans and their mother Judith. She served on the Board of Trustees of Andover Newton Theological school from 1984 to 1996 and was its vice chairperson from 1992-1996.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2019 at 10 a.m. at the United Congregational Church, 6 Institute Rd, Worcester. Burial will follow at Rural Cemetery in Worcester. To read the full obituary please click here.
