The Rev. Charles P. Blakney died at home on December 18, 2018.  He is survived by his wife, the former Dorrie Alderman, sons Robert in Warrenton, VA., Richard in Weymouth, MA., daughters, Catherine Ann Kavassalis in Oakville, Ontario, Canada, and Carol Blakney-Alves in Muncie, IN, and step-son, Jonathan Wilhelmby.  Rev. Blakney was Minister Emeritus of the First Congregational Church of South Hadley, where he served as pastor from 1970 until his formal retirement in 1993. 
The memorial service will be held Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 2:00pm at the First Congregational Church, 1 Church Street, South Hadley, MA 01075.  A reception will follow in Fellowship Hall.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the mission fund at the church, earmarked for Zimbabwe. The Rev. H. Alfred Allenby died from complications related to pneumonia on November 11, 2018 in Falmouth at the age of 92.  He is survived by his three children, Deborah (and Mark) Albert of Falmouth, MA, Stuart (and Cyndi) Allenby of Turners Falls, MA, and Peter (and Saramaria) Allenby, of Falmouth. MA.  Alfred is preceded by his wife of 51 years, Frances Ludlow Munson Allenby.
A service of interment for family and close friends took place at Oak Grove Cemetery on December 8, 2018.  The larger community is invited to a memorial service celebrating the life of H. Alfred Allenby on May 18, 2019 - 2:00 PM at the First Congregational Church in Falmouth, MA.
