For many this is not a "holyday" season, but a "hollowday" experience. The "Ho, Ho, Ho's" of mall Santa's bring pain, not joy. To bring a word of peace, Hadwen Park will be holding a "Blue Christmas Service". Music, scripture, lighting of candles, breaking of bread and anointing with oil will bring a sense of the presence of the "bread of life" who was in the "house of bread". All are welcome and are invited to bring a candle to light in memory of a loved one or situation.

CITY MISSION - NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS

City Mission's Urban Pastoral Ministry Program (UPMP) is a two year residency for recent seminary graduates who are called to ordained urban ministry. City Mission is now accepting application for residents for the program's July 2019 - July 2021 cohort. Application will be accepted through January 15, 2019.
