Lancaster Professor to Keynote Meeting
Dr. Lee Barrett, the Mary B. and Henry P. Stager Professor of Theology at Lancaster Theological Seminary, will give the keynote address at the 211th Autumnal Meeting.
Dr. Barrett's interests include the relationship between the doctrinal traditions of the Christian churches and contemporary culture. He is the author of essays concerning the present-day implications of the theology of the Reformed tradition, as well as the thoughts of Søren Kierkegaard. Lee is particularly interested in the theological significance of literature and the visual arts.

Registration is now open for the meeting, being held Nov. 4, 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM, at the Central Congregational UCC, in Providence.
The theme of this year's Autumnal Meeting is Grace in a Time of Change. Breakfast and Lunch will be provided.

Outdoor Ministries Team Raising Funds for Camperships
The Outdoor Ministry Department of the Rhode Island Conference is working with the American Camp Association to raise funds for camperships. For the month of October, members of the Department are "moving for camp" - swimming, biking, walking, swimming - you name it. They seek your donations that will be used to help low income children attend camp at Irons Homestead.
