RI Minister’s Association Fall Retreat

Peace is not merely a distant goal that we seek, but a means by which we arrive at that goal. “ Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

(Mon.) Sept. 25 – (Tues.) Sept.26
at
Edward’s House Retreat Center
1 Badger Rd, Framingham, MA 01702

Looking for a chance to get away for a few days? Want to deepen relationships with your RI colleagues, just have a little down time, or learn how to be a non-anxious presence in the midst of conflict? Join our Rhode Island Minister's Association fall retreat.

This year we are welcoming Mr. Jonathan Lewis, a Senior Level Trainer in Kingian Nonviolence with the Positive Peace Warrior Network, as our retreat leader. He, with the aid of our very own Rev. Sharon Key, will guide our workshops over the two days. Don’t worry, we will also make sure we have some free time in our schedule to just relax or hang out with friends.

This retreat is open to all authorized ministers in the RI Conference, UCC. The cost is $130.00 and covers materials, lodging, and meals. Mark your calendars now and keep an eye out in your emails for further registration information. If you don’t get an email soon, be sure to contact our RIMA convener, Rev. Dale Azevedo (dale@bccucc.org or 401-246-0111).
