UCC Leaders Call for Action for the Earth

National Officers and Conference Ministers Issue Statement

The national officers of the United Church of Christ and The Council of Conference Ministers last week issued a statement in response to the March 28 executive order that undoes the past administration's climate policies, revives the fossil fuel industry, cuts the EPA's budget and eliminates many climate research programs. Read their statement here.

UCC Leaders are Calling Creation Care advocates to the People's Climate March in Washington D.C. on April 29

Earth care advocates from United Church of Christ congregations around the country will be converging on Washington D.C. April 29 for the People's Climate March. It's no surprise that the denomination is expecting to field a large contingent at the Saturday, April 29 event, since creation care and climate change top the list of priorities UCC members believe the church needs to focus on going forward in the future. Find out more, and RSVP.
